Synopsis:

This is the Fifth Edition. Most of the topics have remained the same but they have all been updated. A new chapter on urinary incontinence has been added. The MCQs and single best answer questions have been extended. In addition, a chapter on how to tackle the short essay and problem solving questions have been added. To remind the student again, this is NOT a text book and neither is it a reference text. It is meant for the student who has had some training in Obstetrics and Gynecology but has failed to grasp the practical approach to the clinical problem. The topics chosen in the book are not exhaustive but it deals with the more common problems seen in practice. Students are therefore reminded to refer to the standard textbooks for further reading especially where surgical procedures are involved.
